Junior Garment Technician

Role Summary:
We are currently recruiting for a permanent full-time experienced Junior Garment Technician to manage and support the Garment Technologist function within the London Head office.
The successful candidate will report to the Technical Manager based at our Head Office and will support the quality control process end-to-end, to ensure our lovely clothes that are bought by our customers meet the production specifications briefed to our suppliers.
What you will be responsible for:
• Shipment sample handling (regular and petite styles)- taking pictures, check labels and testing, sending shipment approval, chase suppliers for testing and sustainability certificates.
• Measure petite shipment samples and help with Gold Seal Petites and Petite Ref samples.
• Upload product details for the website onto PIM for measurements, fabric comp, sustainability certificates.
• Control our Fairtrade relationship with suppliers- cross reference and confirm fairtrade cotton transaction.
• Workbook management- update all workbooks with measurements and relevant details.
• Send out a weekly commitment schedule report to our India team.
• Assistant the Garment techs with product trials and tests as well as any other issues/ tasks they need assistance with.
• Send shipment samples to the DC – weekly.
• Complete sock and tight testing – once given training by Senior Technologist.
• Calendar arrangement for all team’s fits.
• Send out weekly meeting document for the Garment Techs.
• Send (Sustainability Partner) weekly document with all shipment approvals.
• Attend weekly meetings regarding updates to PIM as well as CP meetings with the buying and merch teams.
What you’ll need:
• Knowledge of garment construction
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, ability to communicate and build relationships.
• Strong organizational skills to assist with Garment Technologist functions.
• Ability to help support the department.
