Who you are:

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about Learning & Development and have previous experience delivering and facilitating training sessions ideally within a Retail environment.

Primary objective of the job:

We are recruiting for a Retail Learning & Development Advisor to join our People team. The primary focus of the role is to partner with Retail to support our growth through effective learning and development initiatives for colleagues across our UK and International Shops

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design and deliver thought-provoking, impactful and effective learning and development solutions to meet the needs of Retail
  • Oversee key programmes within such as; Management and Customer Host Development Programmes, Brand Inductions and Core Skills Training
  • Work collaboratively alongside the Retail Team to assess relevant training needs and support development where necessary
  • Conduct learning needs analysis across Retail to identify skills gaps and provide solutions
  • Responsible for the learning cycle to include performance and talent management
  • Identify, select and manage external training providers where necessary to deliver required training to appropriate standards
  • Oversee the training budget and partner with relevant stakeholders accordingly
  • Stay informed as to relevant qualifications and skill levels required by colleagues for effective performance and circulate requirements and relevant information as appropriate
  • Organise operational training aspects; venues, logistics, transport, accommodation as required, to achieve efficient training attendance and delivery
  • Ensure all learning activities and materials meet with relevant organisational and statutory policies (whilst also ensuring a high level of engagement and a sense of fun) including health and safety, employment and equality laws
  • Monitor and report on activities, costs and performance
  • Invest in self-development and be proactive in maintaining knowledge of relevant field at all times

What you’ll need:

· Experience within, and a passion for, learning and development ideally within a Retail environment

· An ability to develop positive, collaborative working relationships with colleagues and other internal departments

· Experience of managing and implementing creative training projects in a retail environment which has demonstrated success

· A confident public speaker

· Strong organizational and planning skills

· Open and approachable collaborative style of working

· Able to inspire and lead others to achieve challenging results

· Confident, articulate and clear communication skills with all levels of employees

· Driven and able to thrive in a fast paced, results-oriented environment requiring a high degree of flexibility whilst retaining business disciplines
