About the role

We are looking for a Web Analyst to join our London based team. Reporting to the Data & Insight Manager, your role will involve analysing and generating insights from different data sources to understand how our website users behave, with a view to improving website conversion rates and optimising the customer journey.

Who you are:

You’re a highly analytical, curious, and detail-oriented analyst with a passion for driving change through data. You’ll have experience in a commercial environment, preferably retail, converting data into relevant, actionable insights and presenting those back to key stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

  • Using data to identify insights into user behaviour, informing hypotheses to optimise conversion
  • Leading A/B testing of hypotheses, reporting on results and delivering the ‘so what’ insight
  • Running quantitative and qualitative research on customers to highlight opportunities for improvements in conversion
  • Understanding how journeys differ between customer segments and marketing channels
  • Conversion based projects
  • Creating a full reporting suite of dashboards on customer journeys
  • Ad-hoc reporting on conversion trends for weekly trade
  • Owning the Google Analytics tagging strategy
  • Understanding the end to end conversion funnel

What you’ll need:

  • Proven analytical experience in a commercial environment (preferably retail), transforming data into relevant, actionable insights
  • Knowledge of SQL, Google Analytics and other reporting tools (Excel PivotTables, etc.)
  • Experience using data visualisation/dashboarding tools such as Google Data Studio and Power BI
  • Understanding of data held in a Customer Data Platform
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy laws
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
